Health centers have always embraced innovation. Health centers were ahead of private practices in adopting electronic medical records and in achieving meaningful use.* During the pandemic, 99% of all health centers reported offering telehealth services to their patients in 2020. Up from 43% pre-pandemic and nearly twice as much compared with private practices.
However, nearly three times as many private practices reported using Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) compared to health centers. RPM improves access to care and enhances the quality of care, aligning with health centers’ missions.
